Built in the 1940’s, this Art Deco home needed a renovation, but we were thrilled the homeowners wanted to honour the vintage charm within the new design. Collaborating with designer Jill Casson Interiors, we were able to renovate this home to provide the owners with modern functionality while preserving as much of the original features as possible, including the curved walls, and art deco tiles. In addition to preserving the 1940’s charm, we wanted to highlight the 180-degree view, using natural materials and a coastal inspired palette.  The complete renovation included reconstruction of the foundation, custom millwork, new curved windows, and installing oak hardwood floors throughout. This was a dream project for our team to be a part of and together we created a beautiful home that blends modern convenience with heritage charm and craftsmanship.

Our team worked closely with the homeowners to renovate their house inside and out to bring their vision for their home to life. The exterior renovation included the filling in of a dangerous and dilapidated pool and creating an outdoor entertaining space centred around a spa. Inside, much consideration was taken to create the large and inviting open-concept living, dining and kitchen areas, complete with high-end materials and finishes. A legal secondary suite was also designed and built to generate income for the homeowners. Together, we transformed this house into a functional and beautiful home.
